Programs

Programs are designed by degreed and certified healthcare professionals dedicated to help each participant move better, become stronger, and reduce the risk of injury to achieve full function and vitality for life.  You will have a well-rounded program working to deliver results.

Strength and conditioning

Water aerobics

Swimming skills are NOT required.

Work every muscle in one workout to build lean muscle tissue and burn body fat.  This setting allows individuals to participate who may be physically unable to in a traditional exercise environment.

Aquatic sessions offer a safe and efficient way for people of all age ranges and abilities to achieve effective exercise sessions.  The aquatic environment works wonders for those with special needs, arthritis, Parkinson’s Disease, joint replacements, back pain, heart conditions, and any other special condition by decreasing earth’s gravity effects of land based exercises allowing greater range of motion and movement that is unable to be performed on land.

Land aerobics

Various teaching modality options are available in aerobic classes working together to strengthen muscle groups and banish fat with short bursts of high intensity aerobic training and strength building circuits.  Work every muscle group in as little as 45-minutes.

Pilate instruction

Yoga and Pilates is an alternative method of body conditioning focused entirely on the core.  Stretching and strengthen exercises for your core, also known as the “powerhouse”, is a focal point and vital part of balance and strength gains.  All movement is generated from our core and it is extremely important to keep these muscles strong and supported.

*Key elements of Mat Based Pilates include: Prevention of injury, Proper breathing technique and flow, Neutral spine movements, Properly engaged core, Shoulder and pelvic stability, Concentration, Control

Nutrition analysis

Over 70% of change starts with what we eat.  We will work together to develop an effective, exciting, nutritional eating plan.  Whether your goal is based upon nutrition modification for weight loss, muscle gain, following a life altering event, what you eat plays a major role.   You will see food differently and learn how to use food to fuel your body instead of storing it.  You will discover fat free and sugar free are not always the best choice and how healthy fats and nutrient rich foods are terrific sources for heart, brain, and overall health.
